Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her…until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.
Review: So, what can I say about this book? Its amazing! My friends keep on recommending this series to me before but I hesitated because a lot of new books are coming out. And then, one day, I have nothing to read and decided to try it. And it was beautiful. It was so beautiful, it hurts.
Even if the story involves the same kind of species from other books, it was totally different. I loved Patch the first time I read about him. The way he talks and get under Nora’s skin effortlessly is just super sexy. He’s undeniably sexy and alluring and can seduce you any time of the day. He’s exactly what girls are looking for in a guy, he is trouble. Don’t deny the fact that girls often likes what’s not good for them. So you can’t really blame Nora.
Anyway, back to the story. Every page is exciting, there was no dull part. I finished this book in one day because I couldn’t stop reading. I love how it combines romance and action at the same time. Those kind of plots is much more exciting than just romance alone.
So if you kind of lost your enthusiasm in reading, I recommend this book for you to read and you will surely be back in business in no time.
Next in the series: Crescendo; Silence; Finale (Title not published yet)
